The Sauniere Society

It's 2007 and thanks to the "Da Vinci Code" publicity there are a lot of people thinking about Jesus, Mary Magdalene and their relationship.

Some of these people have formed groups before Dan Brown even thought about starting a career as an author - one of the oldest (if not the oldest) is the Sauniere Society.

With Henry Lincoln as their president, they have several meetings during the year in Scotland, England and France. The chairpeople John and Joy Millar are doing an excellent job when recruiting speakers for their conferences; have a look at the unofficial website for dates and speakers.

The next meetings that take place are:

The Sauniere Society is an open-minded, well-educated group and their conferences are worth every penny. Apart from the talks, the people who attend are generally well-educated in the whole Rennes-le-Chateau mystery. It's easy to find someone to discuss your ideas with.

(And yes, I am biased because I am a member. Don't let that fact keep you from attending)

Happy Birthday Number Zero

This blog is aptly titled "Secrets & Lies". The hero of a mystery computer game series, Gabriel Knight, sums it up as follows:

"That's the problem with secrets and lies; you can never tell which is which until you dig 'em up and take a good .. whiff."

This blog does not claim to know "which is which". In fact the blog or the authors of the blog won't claim to "know" anything at all; but hopefully you'll find here interesting things we stumbled upon and which others or we ourselves have digged up. It's up to you to take a good whiff and decide for yourself...
